School goals and ambitions
The school takes the wellbeing of staff and students seriously and engaged in a review of wellbeing several years ago. Working groups established areas for change and development as well as signing up to the DfEs Wellbeing Charter. Updated Wellbeing, Marking & Assessment policies were written as an outcome.
The school's Wellbeing Committee was strengthened and the terms of reference rewritten.
Informal and Line Management feedback has suggested that teaching and support staff would welcome the opportunity to engage in a process to revisit staff wellbeing as workload, work-life balance and appreciation are still raised as areas where staff feel there is scope for improvement.
