School context
On Track is an independent SEN school. We currently have 35 students, 11-18 years old. All 35 of our students have SEN needs, 34 of which have EHCP's. We are located in Westbury Wiltshire, working with BaNES, Somerset and Wiltshire local education authorities. 16 of our students are eligible for FSM, but we offer this to all. The school is a member of the Thrive approach, which embeds the support of emotional health and wellbeing of our children.
School goals and ambitions
The ethos of On Track is to provide students with the skills and knowledge to make a positive contribution to society. Our aim for this journey is to enable our staff and students to live a physically and emotionally healthy life. This will be achieved through:
1) providing up to date CPD for staff
2) increasing the engagement of parents, carers and other appropriate agencies
3) implementing strategies to ensure student voice is heard
4) providing a wide range of opportunities to nurture, develop and stretch pupils understanding of physical and mental wellbeing
Our hope is students will grow in resilience, problem solving and have the confidence to self manage as well as access support.

School goals and ambitions
We hope to foster skills such as critical thinking, creativity, resilience, and teamwork.
Our aim for this journey is for students to develop these life skills in order to improve their wellbeing and access to future career aspirations.
We aim to do this by 1) providing upto date CPD for staff 2) encouraging the students (and staff)to take part in new challenges and experiences 3) developing policies and processes.
The provision was set up in April 2024, many of the staff are new to On Track and at times can be inconsistent. I hope our journey will encourage a team spirit and consistency in approach.
