School context
We are a coeducational independent day school for pupils aged 3-11 years, 120 pupils small class sizes, 5% SEN, 1 EAL. We aim to foster traditional values within a modern approach placing pupils at the heart of a strong, supportive community. We seek to prepare pupils for their future lives by nurturing their wellbeing. We work closely with parents and all staff aim to inspire a love of learning and offer full support to all pupils. We are a non-selective, fully inclusive school providing a bespoke curriculum to meet individual needs. We achieve excellent academic and all round results and we are proud that our leavers are confident, but not arrogant.
School goals and ambitions
Wellbeing is at the forefront of everything we do at Lyndhurst however, we know we can do more. Our hope is that this award will provide all stakeholders with a framework and accountability to deliver a first class wellbeing provision at Lyndhurst. We want to celebrate all we do already, but also assess in which areas we can improve. We want to create a community where wellbeing is everyone's responsibility.

Impact school context
The school's leaders and governors have all had wellbeing at the forefront of their minds since starting the award - there have been a number of initiatives put into place that monitor, assess and support children with their mental wellbeing. There has also been communication opened between school and parents as to support and guidance on offer to families who may require it. The children on roll have been very honest and open talking about their own happiness and wellbeing and seem much happier in themselves.
